Newspaper design

Although the image quality of some pieces may be less than ideal, I’ve included them to highlight my ability to capture attention through bold, educational visual storytelling. I developed all concepts, designs, and illustrations featured.

Achievements:
I received five Awards of Excellence from the Society for News Design – an international competition – including two for my overall portfolio. Additionally, my work has earned numerous design and writing awards from various state and regional news organizations, including the South Carolina Press Association, the Oregon Newspaper Publishers Association, and the Associated Press.
